I got my BSc in Bioengineering and MSc in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in 2022 and 2024. I started my researcher career in the neuroscience field in 2025 as a MSc Research Fellow in the project of smartDBS - Improving Deep Brain Stimulation in Parkinson’s Disease with Personalized Electrophysiological Biomarkers and Data-Driven Stimulation Strategies. In 2026, I was accepted in the BiotechHealth Doctoral Programme from Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS) and currently the focus of my PhD work is the study of Parkinson's Disease electrophysiology and their mapping to motor symptoms to develop state-dependent neuromodulation strategies in human patients.
I am 2nd author in a peer-reviewed publication (IOP-Biofabrication). I am currently a PhD student at the NCN group, under the supervision of Paulo Aguiar
