Beatriz Oliveira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the University of Aveiro (2023), where she conducted a research project at CICECO focused on the development of cellulose-based bioinks for 3D bioprinting applications in regenerative medicine. She also holds a Master’s degree in Molecular Bioengineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (2025).

In 2024, she joined the Neuro & Skeletal Circuits group at i3S as a research trainee, where she later developed her Master’s thesis under the supervision of Estrela Neto, studying the effects of extracellular vesicles derived from breast cancer cells on sensory neurons.

Beatriz Oliveira is currently a research fellow working with advanced 3D in vitro models to investigate the role of sensory innervation in prostate cancer bone metastasis.
