I started my academic journey at University of Aveiro, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry between 2021 and 2024. My final undergraduate project focused on 3D printing combined with Nanochemistry and Microbiology.

In the same year, I began my master’s degree at University of Porto in Biochemistry from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto (FCUP) and Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas Abel Salazar (ICBAS), expected to finish in 2026.

In the beginning of 2025, looking for an opportunity to work on a scientific research project, I joined Neuro & Skeletal Circuits (NeSk) group at Instituto de Investigação e Inovação em Saúde (i3S) as a MsC student. 

At the moment, I've been under Dr. Daniela Vasconcelos supervision to study the neuro-immune axis on cartilage diseases, particularly post-traumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA).
