Cristina P. Vieira

Cristina Vieira obtained a degree in Biology from University of Porto in 1990. During 1994- 1997, She worked at Daniel Hartl's lab (Harvard University). Then, she did a PhD at Deborah Charlesworth's lab, at Edinburgh University, in between 1998 and 2000. In 2001 she did a post-doc with Jorge Vieira, at IBMC. In 2004 she became a Researcher at IBMC. Her field of expertise is Population Genetics, Molecular Evolution and Bioinformatics (including Genomics, Transcriptomics and Proteomics), having published more than 50 papers in international peer reviewed journals.
