Beatriz Teixeira graduated in Biochemistry from University of Minho in 2023 and completed a Master‘s degree in Applications in Biotechnology and Synthetic Biology at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto in 2025. She conducted her Master‘s dissertation at CIIMAR within the Cyanobacterial Natural Products group, where her research focused on the genetic engineering of cyanobacterial to produce extracellular vesicles with different cargos. Her work explored the potential of cyanobacterial extracellular vesicles as innovative tools to promote fish health in aquaculture. She is currently working as a technician on the GreenOralVax project.
