Adriana is an invited adjunct professor at the Faculty of Medicine (FMUP) and the Faculty of Nutrition and Food Sciences (FCNAUP) at the University of Porto. She obtained her Ph.D. in Biomedicine from FMUP in 2013. Her research focuses on adipose tissue dysfunction, inflammation, and senescence—features that are particularly evident in obesity and aging."
