I studied Biomedical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon. During my masters final year I attended University of Twente (Netherlands), where I also did my thesis in surface plasmon resonance technology applied to the discovery of surface markers in cancer cells. Currently I am part of Genetic Dynamics group and I am studying the role of exosomes in cancer heterogeneity.
