Daniel Barbosa obtained an Integrated Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2009, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences - Specialty of Toxicology in 2013, at Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Porto. His main area of research is Neuroscience and Toxicology, with a special interest in the elucidation of molecular and cellular mechanism mediating brain-related pathological processes. Presently, he is especially interested in elucidating the mechanistic details of dynactin's role in neurodegeneration.
