João Brás
Junior Researcher

João Brás is a biomedical researcher with a MSc in Biomedical Engineering (FEUP/U.Porto) and a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biotechnology (ICBAS/UPorto and EPFL, 2022). Throughout his PhD, focused on neuroimmunology and epigenetics, João thrived finding new molecular biomarkers for depression diagnosis. Recently, João's research has been focused on the development of new non-invasive tools detecting disease-associated biomarkers in the fields of cancer and molecular genetics.
