Rossana Correia graduated in Biology at Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto and in Anatomia Patológica Citológica e Tanatológica (Laboratorial Biomedical Sciences) in School of Health, Polytechnic Institute of Porto. Her first contact with research was in 2002 with, in the area of Familial Amyloidotic Polyneuropathy (FAP), with Professor Maria João Saraiva at the Institute for Molecular and Cell Biology (IBMC). . In 2003, began working at Ipatimup Diagnostics until 2015, where he was responsible for Macroscopy, enzymatic and non-enzymatic Histochemistry and Laboratory safety. Joined the Histology and Electron Microscopy Service (HEMS) in 2016.
