Highly motivated young Portuguese researcher with a passion for Life Sciences. Dedicated, hardworking, and very curious about oncology, nanomedicine, and other scientific topics. Co-author of 3 scientific publications published in international peer-reviewed journals. Awarded 2 scientific research grants from Fulbright Portugal and the Luso-American Development Foundation (FLAD). Very communicative, social, and dynamic person. Organized and methodical at the lab, and able to meet deadlines. Fluent in English and Portuguese. Currently a 3rd year PhD student in Biomedical Sciences, with a project focused on developing a new chemoimmunotherapeutic nanovaccine for the treatment of glioblastoma, in a collaboration between i3S/ICBAS (University of Porto, Portugal), UMCG (University of Groningen, The Netherlands) and Northeastern University (Boston, USA).
