Ana do Vale
Associate Researcher
Ana do Vale graduated in Aquatic Sciences from the University of Porto in 1996 and received her PhD from the same University in 2003. Her research has been conducted at IBMC, as well as at the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and Marine Laboratory (Aberdeen, UK) and has been focusing on understanding bacterial virulence mechanisms relying on protein toxins. Ana do Vale has experience in supervising undergraduate, MsC and PhD students and in running research projects.
