João Barbosa
Cell Division & Genomic Stability
Post-doctoral Fellow
João Francisco Barbosa graduated with a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Porto and then moved to the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra where he got a Master's degree in Biochemistry. He then joined Prof. Claudio Sunkel's lab at IBMC, where he developed his PhD project, which was focused on the role of POLO kinase in the regulation of kinetochore-microtubule attachments during mitosis.
