With over 800 researchers, i3S is a complex and demanding machine and our researchers have an intense and busy schedule. In this context, the Transversal Units play an essential role by working directly with and providing support to researchers and the Board of Directors. 

i3S has fully dedicated Transversal Units that sustain the general operation of the Institute and provide support and expertise to the entire i3S community in a wide range of areas.
